Page Heath Brannan is one of the most dominant women’s lacrosse players in school history, having set the school record for career assists (69) and points (244) while finishing second all-time in career goals (175). She led the Raiders in scoring in all four of her seasons, including as a senior when SU went 10-5 and reached the PSAC Semifinals. Her prolific scoring resulted in an average of a hat trick per game in each of her final three seasons.
In addition to her numerous school records, Brannan was named the 2002 PSAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year, one of just two times in SU history that a Raider has earned the conference’s top honor. Brannan was a three-time All-PSAC performer and a three-time IWLCA All-American – earning First Team honors as a sophomore before receiving Second Team honors as a junior and senior.
Brannan was a decorated student-athlete, enrolled in the SU Honors Program as an accounting major. She finished as a three-time Academic All-American, earning First Team honors as a senior and Third Team honors as a sophomore and junior. There are only three people in history to be named an Academic All-American three times: Brannan, Brian Cozzens (basketball 80-82) and Neely Spence Gracey (T&F/XC 10-12). Brannan earned a 2003-04 Wall Street Journal Award, earning the highest grade-point average (GPA) of a graduating female in the Grove College of Business.
During her sophomore breakout season, Brannan set career highs with 51 goals and 75 points while also leading the team with 24 assists. Her production came in just 14 games, resulting in an average of 3.6 goals and 1.7 assists per contest. Brannan also averaged more than five points per game as a junior, scoring 47 goals and recording 16 assists in just 12 contests.
After graduation, Brannan received her MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore. She works as a certified public accountant (CPA). Brannan began her career in public accounting at Clifton Gunderson before becoming a controller at USALCO in Baltimore. She was promoted to the position of director of financial planning and analysis at USALCO, and is currently the director of finance at Ecotone.
While working at Clifton Gunderson, she met a fellow accountant – Mike Brannan. The couple married in 2008 and has three sons: Mack, Joe and Sean.
