Nash was a talented two-sport athlete that thrived in field hockey for the Lady Raiders. She was a three-time NFHCA All-American and earned all-conference first team honors in each of her competitive field hockey seasons. She was also a member of the lacrosse team during the spring seasons.
In the 1991 season, Nash made an immediate impact by tallying eight goals and three assists in her freshman campaign en route to her first of four consecutive All-PSAC First Team selections.
Following the 1992 season where she scored 13 goals and tallied four assists, Nash was named a NFHCA Second Team All-American. The Lady Raiders finished with a 16-6 mark. During the 1993 and 1994 seasons she was again honored by the NFHCA, being named a First Team All-American.
For her junior season, Nash was the recipient of the Class of 1926 Women’s Athletic Scholarship award and by the time the campaign was over she had earned team MVP honors. She scored 11 goals and tallied two assists while guiding the Lady Raiders to the PSAC Tournament with a 13-8 record. Under Nash’s leadership, the Lady Raiders made three consecutive PSAC Tournament appearances from 1991-93.
Her workload and reliability increased during her tenure at Shippensburg, culminating in her senior year in which she finished with a then-school record 18 goals. She also recorded a career-high with 39 points during her senior year.
At the time of her graduation, Nash held the school record for career goals but is now ranked fifth in school history with 50 goals and 112 points. For her career, she also totaled 12 assists.
