Carol Snavely Piccolo, a native of Lititz and resident of Nazareth, lettered four years in field hockey and one year in basketball.
Piccolo made her mark in field hockey. She was the team MVP two years in a row and team captain for two years.
Piccoo also had the distinction of playing in All-Star tournaments three years in a row. In 1973, she competed in the Mid-East tournament and was subsequently selected for the Mid-East all-star team. That team competed in the national tournament in Boston that year. She played right wing on the Mid-East III team. In 1974, she led the Lady Raiders to an 8-3 record and she competed in the Mid-East tournament again. In 1975, Piccolo led the team in scoring with five goals.
After graduation Piccolo became a homemaker where she was very active in church activities, serving as president of the ladies organization. She also served as a volunteer at the local school, introducing children to great art.
