Lisa Trombetta Fink remains the all-time leading scorer in women’s soccer at Shippensburg University and one of the most dominant forwards to ever play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). She suited up for the Raiders from 1997-2000.

Fink finished her distinguished career with 51 goals, 42 assists and 144 points – all school records. She is 11th in PSAC history for career goals, fourth in PSAC history for career assists, and eighth in PSAC history for career points.

She wasted no time making an immediate impact with the Raiders. Her 18 goals, 18 assists and 54 points as a freshman in 1997 are all single-season school records at Shippensburg that remain to this day. In fact, those 18 assists remain the PSAC single-season record, while the 54 points are the fifth-most in one season by any PSAC player.

Additionally, Fink’s six assists in one game against Juniata remains tied for the PSAC single-game record.

The 1997 season was just the fourth year of women’s soccer at Shippensburg, and the Raiders reached the PSAC Tournament with a 13-6 record. SU set school records for most goals scored and fewest goals allowed that season, with Fink’s offensive impact playing a major role.

Fink was a three-time All-PSAC performer and was also a regional All-American as a freshman. She scored 10 goals and had nine assists as a sophomore before scoring 10 goals with four assists as a junior. Fink capped off her collegiate career with 13 goals and 11 assists as a senior.

After completing her playing career, Fink served as an SU student assistant coach in 2001 before graduating that December.

Following her graduation, Lisa was an assistant coach for one season at her high school alma mater, Parkland – coaching JV girls. She is currently in her 14th year as a special education teacher, working primarily as a behavioral instructor. For the last three years, she has been an assistant coach with her son’s U-12 soccer team. Fink also played indoor soccer for several years after her graduation.

Lisa has married to her husband, EJ Fink, for 12 years, and the couple has five children. They reside in Chesapeake, Virginia.
