Junior Rikki Sargent and freshman MacKenna Angert were among those winning multiple events and posting new season bests on Saturday as the Shippensburg University women's swimming team defeated Davis & Elkins in a dual meet, 108-60.
 
Sargent swam the 100-yard freestyle for the first time this season and won in 55.46 seconds; she later posted the top time in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:29.04.
 
Angert improved upon her collegiate best in the 1,000-yard freestyle by winning in 11:12.57; she went on to win the 200-yard backstroke in 2:14.75.
                                              
Junior Carolyn Meier was a double-event winner, posting the top times in the 200 (1:58.83) and 500 (5:28.99) freestyle. Other event winners included senior Jen Flinchbaugh in the 50-yard freestyle (27.00) and senior Tara Yohe in the 200-yard butterfly (2:21.09).
 
Saturday's meet capped off a two-year home-and-home series with the Senators, who came to Shippensburg a year ago for a dual meet in Donald N. Miller Pool.

Shippensburg returns to action next Saturday in Lewisburg at the Bucknell Invitational.
