Day 3 Prelims  •  Day 3 Finals

YORK, Pa. – Olivia Carver finished seventh in the championship 'A' final Friday to lead seven members of the Shippensburg University women's swimming team who recorded scoring performances on Day 3 of the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center.

Carver delivered a time of 5:12.78 in the evening finals to improve by one place from her qualifying seed. Her morning prelim swim was 5:10.44. It's the second straight year she earned a spot in the event's 'A' final.

Michelle Kubiak snuck into the consolation 'B' final of the 500-yard freestyle by swimming 5:13.58 during the morning and came back at night with a time of 5:14.73 that resulted in 16th place. It is her third career place-winning performance in the event.

All four Raiders who competed in the 500-yard freestyle either scored or set new lifetime bests. Olivia Sitkowski came within four places of the pre-consolation 'C' final with a new PR of 5:26.09, while Alyssa Brown enhanced her lifetime best to 5:27.72.

Ann Secord continued what has been an excellent championship meet with another personal best – reaching the consolation final of the 100-yard backstroke. Her morning swim of 59.23 seconds was a huge PR, and she came within .16 seconds of that time during the evening session. Secord placed 13th overall to pace the Raiders in the event.

Hannah Hudson scored from the pre-consolation 'C' final, placing 20th in 1:00.31. Her evening swim was an improvement of eight-tenths of a second from prelims.

Charlee Shaw was the lone Raider scorer in the 100-yard breaststroke. Shaw snuck into the 'B' final and finished 16th – her evening time of 1:07.76 was .07 seconds faster than her prelim time.

Carol Fabian, like Secord, kept her excellent championship meet going by shattering another lifetime best. Fabian's 21st-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly of 2:17.58 was a full two seconds faster than her prelim time and exceeded her previous collegiate best by eight seconds.

Jenna Ober joined Fabian in the 'C' final, placing 23rd with a time of 2:20.73. It is the second straight year she has scored in the event.

SU began the evening session with Secord, Shaw, Izzy Ketterer and Ella Nick delivering a strong effort in the 200-yard medley relay. The quartet swam in the first heat but managed to beat two teams that swam in the second timed finals heats, resulting in a seventh-place finish that was timed at 1:48.16.

The Raiders are in 10th place entering the final day of competition.

Saturday's action begins at 10 a.m. and concludes with a 5 p.m. finals session.
