The Shippensburg University men's swimming team won seven events Saturday as it defeated Davis & Elkins in a road dual meet, 129-68, at the George A. Myles Pool.
 
Many Raiders made season debuts in a variety of events, with two resulting in first-place finishes. Sophomore Tyler Clisham had the top time in the 200-yard freestyle, swimming 1:52.99, while senior R.J. Phiambolis won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:05.59.
 
Junior Jake Dunnigan won the 200-yard breaststroke, swimming 2:17.70, and posted a second-place time in the 1,000-yard freestyle of 10:33.64 that ranks second among Raider swimmers this season.
 
Junior Stefan Szilagyi claimed gold in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.61, and freshman Kristian Voulopos completed the 200-yard backstroke in 2:04.44. Dunnigan posted a season debut of 2:08.96 in the 200 backstroke.
 
Junior Jordan Metz had a pair of second-place finishes, completing the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:20.58 and the 200-yard freestyle in 1:53.15.
 
Saturday's meet capped off a two-year home-and-home series with the Senators, who came to Shippensburg a year ago for a dual meet in Donald N. Miller Pool.

Shippensburg returns to action next Saturday in Lewisburg at the Bucknell Invitational.
