Day 3 Finals • Day 3 Prelims
YORK, Pa. – Ezekiel Eberly delivered the third-fastest performance in school history in the 100-yard backstroke and
Alex Kissinger won the consolation 'B' final of the 200-yard butterfly Friday as the Shippensburg University men's swimming team continued its strong meet at the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships being held at the Graham Aquatic Center.
Eberly broke the 51-second mark in the 100-yard backstroke during the consolation 'B' final Friday night, posting a 10th-place time of 50.89 seconds that moved him into the No. 3 slot in school history for the event. His time was actually the eighth-fastest of the evening, as it beat two of the times from the championship 'A' final. It was also an improvement of .33 seconds from the morning prelims – an effort that also had been a new personal best.
Kissinger broke the 1:55 mark in the 200-yard butterfly for the first time in his career, using an excellent kick over the final 25 yards to achieve the 'B' final victory in 1:54.26. His previous PR was 1:55.02; he remains in 10th place all-time in school history for the event with his latest swim.
Ian Deck delivered his latest distance freestyle PR during prelims with a 500-yard freestyle time of 4:46.03 that got him into the 'B' final. His evening swim of 4:46.44 resulted in a 13th-place finish.
Josh Wall earned the final spot in the 'B' final of the 200-yard butterfly but improved by three places with his evening swim, finishing 13th in 1:55.54. The time was 1.5 seconds faster than his morning prelim effort.
