2013-14 (Junior): Maintained a role as a regular scoring contributor to the Raiders during his third season…was a PSAC individual place-winner in the 100 backstroke, taking 15th place…contributed to all three of SU’s scoring performances in freestyle relays at the conference championships, including a fifth-place finish with the 200 freestyle relay…finished as SU’s top performer in three freestyle events (50, 100, 500) and both backstroke events…set multiple personal bests at the conference championships, including the 50 and 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke…also competed in the 200 backstroke at the PSAC Championships.
2012-13 (Sophomore): Contributed to four PSAC place-winning performances at the conference championships for the second consecutive season with the Raiders…posted individual PSAC places in the 100 backstroke (11th) and 200 backstroke (13th), setting personal bests in both events at the conference meet…swam on the 200 and 400 freestyle relays that took sixth place…also represented the Raiders at the conference championships in the 50 freestyle.
2011-12 (Freshman): Impressed with three individual PSAC place-winning performances in his debut season with the Raiders as a distance freestyler and backstroke competitor…earned 10th place in the mile, 14th place in the 200 backstroke and 16th place in the 1000 freestyle…also contributed to the 800 freestyle relay at the conference meet…ranked second among SU competitors for the season in the mile and 1000 freestyle and fourth in the 200 backstroke.
Coatesville High School: Swam for the Red Raiders under head coach David Morris…competed in freestyle and backstroke events…qualified for the District I championships in all four of his varsity seasons…ran cross country and track as a freshman and sophomore…accrued six varsity letters.
About Robertson: Full name is Tyler John Robertson…is the son of Bob and Karen Robertson…majoring in supply chain management…has two brothers: Rob and Justin…Rob was a cross country and track athlete at the University of North Carolina.
