2015-16 (Junior): Specialized in freestyle and butterfly events for the Raiders in his third season with the team…competed individually at the PSAC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard butterfly…notched his season bests in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly at Ithaca’s Bomber Invitational.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Maintained his status as a durable swimmer for the Raiders, primarily working in freestyle events…competed in both butterfly events and the 100-yard freestyle at the PSAC Championships…ranked fourth on the squad in the 200-yard butterfly event.
2013-14 (Freshman): Debuted with the Raiders, swimming primarily in freestyle and butterfly events…represented SU in the 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly at the PSAC Championships…achieved season bests in both sprint freestyle events at George Mason and a PR in the 100 butterfly at Ithaca.
Chambersburg Area High School: Earned four varsity letters as a Trojan under head coach Mark Shoap…was a four-time conference qualifier and a two-time district qualifier…was also a YMCA national qualifier…competed at the club level for the Chambersburg Chargers under coach Anthony Addlesberger.
About Johnson: Full name is Chandler Evan Johnson…is the son of Chip and Stacey Johnson…majoring in history and seeking social studies teaching certification…mother Stacey attended Shippensburg from 1984-1988.
