SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's swimming team had four of its athletes named to the 2026 Division II Academic All-District ® Team Tuesday.

Sophomore Josh Einolf, junior Robbie Ferlick, junior Mason Koeth and junior Connor Ludwig were the Raiders recognized among the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance in the pool and in the classroom.

Einolf is an academic junior who is a physics major (computational physics concentration) with a mathematics minor. He maintains a 3.74 cumulative GPA.

Einolf shattered the school record in the 100-yard butterfly at the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Swimming Championships, achieving a time of 49.06 (fifth place). He also competed in the 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley, as well as a pair of relay events (200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay).

Koeth is a computer science major with a minor in mathematics who maintains a 3.83 cumulative GPA.

Koeth competed in four individual events at the 2026 PSAC Championships (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke). He also contributed to three relays (200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 800-yard freestyle relay), most notably aiding a new school record (1:22.42) and an All-PSAC finish in the 200-free relay.

Ludwig is a communications, journalism and media major with a broadcast media concentration and a coaching minor who maintains a 3.75 cumulative GPA.

Ludwig took part in three individual events (50-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke) and four relays (200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 800 freestyle relay) at the 2026 PSAC Championships.

Like Koeth, Ludwig was a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay squad that placed third at the conference meet.

Ferlick is a mechanical engineering major with a mathematics minor who maintains a 3.60 cumulative GPA.

At PSACs, Ferlick competed in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyles, and contributed to four relays (200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 800-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay).

He accompanied Koeth and Ludwig on the record-setting 200-yard freestyle relay.

Koeth and Ludwig are now two-time Academic All-District ® honorees; it is the first career honor for Einolf and Ferlick.

2026 marks the fourth year that the Academic All-America ® program has honored swimming as its own sport. Formerly, swimming had been in the At-Large category, meaning that swimmers were competing with athletes from several other sports to earn Academic All-District ® and Academic All-America ® classifications.

The Academic All-District ® Team is coordinated by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
