YORK, Pa. – Josh Wall and Robbie Ferlick delivered scoring performances in their respective individual events Wednesday and later comprised half of the fourth-place 800-yard freestyle relay squad for the Shippensburg University men's swimming team that got things started at the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships being held at the Graham Aquatic Center.

Wall qualified for the consolation 'B' finals of the 200-yard individual medley (IM) with a season-best time of 1:55.11 during morning prelims before coming back in the evening and improving to 1:54.24, which resulted in a 13th-place finish. He came within .47 seconds of his lifetime best (achieved while swimming for Lees-McRae) and moved into the No. 4 spot all-time at Shippensburg in the 200-yard IM.

Ferlick earned a spot in the consolation finals of the 50-yard freestyle by swimming 21.06 seconds during prelims. He finished 12th overall, completing the evening 'B' final in 21.32 seconds.

Mason Koeth, Connor Ludwig, Wall and Ferlick combined to achieve Shippensburg's fastest PSAC Championships time this century in the 800-yard freestyle relay. The excellent swim of 6:52.14 is the highest Raider finish in the event since 2019. It surpasses the SU performance from two years ago in which it swam 6:52.65.

Koeth, SU's school-record holder in the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.25 at the 2024 PSAC Championships), was clocked with a leadoff split of 1:41.70 on the relay to put the Raiders in position.

Ian Deck and Ethan Dismuke highlighted the morning session with significant personal bests in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Deck's 13-second PR of 10:01.70 had him just one spot shy of scoring, as he finished 17th. Dismuke touched the wall in 10:12.78 for a 17-second personal best.

Other notable efforts from the morning included Alex Kissinger achieving a PR of 1:56.85 in the 200-yard IM and Ezekiel Eberly doing the same in the 50-yard freestyle by swimming 21.76 seconds. Ludwig missed his 50-yard freestyle PR by just a hundredth of a second; he swam 21.39 seconds.

Thursday's competition begins with prelims at 10 a.m. and features finals at 5:30 p.m.
