The Shippensburg University men's swimming team had nine performances that satisfied the PSAC qualifying standard as it wrapped up a busy weekend with a Saturday morning dual meet at IUP which was won by the Crimson Hawks, 135-66.
 
Junior Jake Dunnigan and freshman Kristian Voulopos each had two performances that stood as conference cuts.
 
Dunnigan finished second in the 200-yard freestyle, swimming 1:48.59, and completed the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:02.95. Voulopos was third in the 100-yard freestyle after swimming 48.57 seconds and also in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.76.
 
Junior Stefan Szilagyi and sophomore Shaun Smith swam 53.77 seconds and 55.57 seconds, respectively, in the 100-yard butterfly.
 
Senior Tyler Robertson [100 freestyle], sophomore Tyler Clisham [100 breaststroke] and freshman Nick Francis [50 freestyle] also hit PSAC cuts.
 
Shippensburg has three weeks to train for its first critical meet of the early season, which takes place November 20-22 at George Mason in the Patriot Invitational.
