Biography
Upper Moreland High School: Was a three-time PIAA ‘AA’ All-State qualifier for the Golden Bears under coach Melanie Rowland…also competed for the Upper Dublin Aquatic Club and coach Geoff Scheuer…was a District 1 AA champion as an individual and team member, setting school records in the process…selected to the Suburban One Third Team in all four years of high school…received honorable mention for three years…named his team’s MVP as a junior…was an honor roll student…also played lacrosse and ran cross country…has a sister, Casey, who graduated from Shippensburg in 2014…posted top times of 55.02 seconds in the 100 butterfly and 1:48.92 in the 200 freestyle.
About Nelson: Full name is Kane Dickson Nelson…is the son of Kent and Cynthia Nelson…majoring in business administration...has a brother, Kyle, and his sister, Casey, is a 2014 SU graduate.
