The Shippensburg University volleyball team extended its school-record winning streak to 14 consecutive matches on Friday night with a straight-set victory at Kutztown in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup from Keystone Arena. Set scores were 25-18, 25-18, 25-14.
 
Shippensburg (15-2, 5-0 PSAC) hit .292 as a team, committing just seven attack errors over the final two sets.  Sophomore 
Emily Hangen handed out 36 assists, served three of SU's eight aces and had nine digs. Junior 
Megan Forstburg led the Raiders with 16 digs and had five assists.
 
Senior 
Morgan DeFloria led the Raiders with 13 kills and hit .273. Junior 
Kendall Johnson paced the SU middle with 11 kills, swinging .500 on 18 attempts, and a team-high four block assists.
 
Junior 
Gabriella Johnson swung .474, ripping nine kills without an error on 19 attempts. She also had 14 digs, served two aces, and contributed three block assists.

Samantha Webber had nine kills, while sophomore 
Alana Pergine provided two kills and two block assists. Junior

Gianna Sigado each served an ace.
 
Kutztown (6-8, 0-5) took a 9-3 lead in the opening set before the Raiders countered with an 8-1 run to take an 11-10 lead. With the first set tied 13-13, SU scored seven of the next eight points to take control of the opening frame. Shippensburg scored seven of the last nine points in the second set and 10 of the last 14 points in the third set.
 
Forstburg moved into 11th place on SU's career digs list – bringing her career total to 1,189. She is 92 digs shy of cracking the school's Top 10 for the category.
