SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University volleyball team played its first home match of the 2018 season Friday night and posted another convincing Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) triumph, sweeping visiting Seton Hill by scores of 25-19, 25-20 and 25-20 from inside a muggy Heiges Field House.
Shippensburg (13-2, 3-0 PSAC) got a match-high 19 kills from senior
Morgan DeFloria, who swung .311 on 45 attempts. Junior
Samantha Webber had 11 kills, swung .455, and contributed a team-high five blocks.

Gabriella Johnson posted her fifth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 18 digs, while junior
Megan Forstburg notched 20 digs from her libero post.
Sophomore setter
Emily Hangen had the offense humming, totaling 41 assists while also recording 18 digs. SU hit .241 as a team on the night, marking the 11th time in 15 matches this season that the Raiders posted a hitting percentage of .200 or better.
Seton Hill (8-4, 2-1) was limited to a .098 hitting percentage – as leading hitters Viktoria Farian (-.042) and Leah Bisignani (-.091) both hit negative and combined for just six kills. Jillian Livorse had a strong third set and paced the Griffins with seven kills overall.
SU's winning streak has now reached 12 consecutive matches – marking its longest since the 2013 season. The Raiders have swept seven straight opponents.
