SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University lacrosse head coach Nicole Miller has announced the addition of 12 recruits who have agreed to attend SU in the fall of 2018.
 
These players have signed either national letters of intent (NLIs) or institutional letters expressing their desire to play lacrosse at Shippensburg.
 
"Ship Lacrosse is extremely excited to announce our 2018-19 class," Miller said. "With the combination of these players along with our returners, I truly believe this program will reach heights that the program has not seen in quite some time."

Clairanne Chairs
Freshman • Defense
Ellicott City, Md./Mount de Sales Academy
 
Mount de Sales Academy: Totaled nine varsity letters for the Sailors spanning four sports…served as a defender on the lacrosse team under head coach Eric Pfeiler…played club lacrosse for M&D under coach Dave Weiner…also competed in field hockey, swimming and indoor track & field…was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society.

About Chairs: Full name is Clairanne Chairs…is the daughter of Todd and Annie Chairs…has three siblings: Wesley, Alexander and Aidan.
 
Sydney Costanza

Denver, Pa./Cocalico
 
Cocalico High School: Totaled three varsity letters in lacrosse for the Eagles under head coach Dave Powers…played club lacrosse with Xtreme under coach Lauren Caminiti…named a 2017 Lancaster-Lebanon League Honorable Mention All Star…played twice for the Central Pennsylvania delegation for the U.S. Lacrosse national team…also earned three varsity letters in field hockey…honored as team's Defensive MVP as a senior captain and as team's MVP as a freshman.

About Costanza: Full name is Sydney Elizabeth Costanza…is the daughter of Michael and Traci Costanza…has a sister, Katelyn, who plays lacrosse at Lock Haven.

Dover, Pa./Dover Area
 
Dover Area High School: Totaled three varsity letters entering her senior season for the Eagles under head coach Bryan Gamble…played club lacrosse with Black Dog under Gamble and Alexandra Stambaugh…earned All Lancaster-County honorable mention from GameTimePA…served as a team captain…compiled a .560 save percentage as a goalkeeper in her junior season while scoring 15 goals on attack…achieved a 3.6 GPA as an honor-roll student.
 
About Gamble: Full name is Shaely Morgan Gamble…is the daughter of Bryan and Dana Gamble…has a brother, Trevor.

Eastern York High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Golden Knights under head coach Caroline Jaeger…played club lacrosse for the York Invaders under coach Dan China…also played soccer…compiled a 4.285 GPA…ranked fourth in her class…was a member of the superior honor roll.
 
About Keller: Full name is McKenna Lee Keller…is the daughter Chris Keller…has three siblings: sister Katie, stepsister Kayla Johnson and stepbrother Gavin Johnson.

About Leishear: Full name is Julia Madison Leishear…is the daughter of Bill and Erin Leishear…has a brother, Nathan, and a sister, Jordan…brother Nathan played lacrosse at York…sister Jordan was a cheerleader at Marshall.
