The Shippensburg University tennis team completed six more doubles and 12 singles matches Sunday on the second and final day of competition at the Bloomsburg University Fall Classic.
 
For the second straight day, the doubles pairings of freshmen Vanessa Ruffo and Hannah Coath and junior Emilie Luttman and freshman Rachel Weber won matches. Ruffo and Coath beat Ashley Carter and Kady Wuagon of Kutztown, 8-2. Luttman and Weber defeated Jessica Caples and Kara Urland of Kutztown, 8-6.
 
SU notched three singles victories. Luttman defeated ESU's Kayla Loar, 6-2, 6-2. Freshman Kaylin Gallagher defeated ESU's Sarah DiGregory, 6-0, 7-5.
 
The longest singles match of the day was contested by freshman McKensi Washabaugh. In a match against ESU's Lauren Morrissey, Washabaugh dropped the first set but ultimately won a third-set tiebreaker to take the match. The scores were 5-7, 6-2, 10-4.
 
Shippensburg returns to action Tuesday evening when it travels to Shepherd for a 5:30 p.m. matchup with the Rams.
