The Shippensburg University tennis team beat Hagerstown Community College, 7-2, behind a perfect record in doubles and a 4-2 edge in singles Saturday afternoon in Shippensburg.
Shippensburg (1-2) started its 3-0 day in doubles with a close win at No. 1 doubles with senior
Brittnee Buckley and freshman
Gabbie Binder. Buckley and Binder were forced to a tiebreaker, which they won 10-7.

Kaylin Gallagher came together for a No. 2 doubles win before the Raiders earned a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles.
At No. 2 singles, freshman
McKensi Washabaugh coasted to a 6-4, 6-1 win. At No. 3 singles, junior
Emilie Luttman added another win by a count of 6-2, 6-0. SU also had two forfeit victories in singles.
SU will be in action next Saturday at the Bloomsburg Fall Classic.
