SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University baseball team dropped a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division games to Lock Haven on a cold and windy Friday afternoon at Fairchild Field, falling 8-1 in Game 1 and 6-3 in Game 2.

Shippensburg (3-10, 0-2 PSAC) struck first in Game 1 when junior
Mike Marcinko led off the inning with a double to left center and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly from sophomore
Jake Kennedy.

Lock Haven (3-5, 2-0) responded in the top of the second inning of Game 1 with three runs and did not allow another run from the Raiders the rest of the game on the shoulders of a complete game from senior pitcher Madison Neddo.

Marcinko finished 3-for-7 between the two games with one RBI and one double while freshman
Dalton Hoiles finished 2-for-3 at the plate in each game.

Rich Michaud threw five innings in Game 2 and allowed six runs (two earned) and struck out two.

Kennedy finished the afternoon 3-for-6 with a walk, two RBIs and a stolen base.
