2015 (Junior): Bounced between the bullpen and rotation as a valuable left-hander in his third season with SU…finished with a 2-1 record over 15 appearances (four starts)…SU won all four of his starts…struck out 29 batters in 33 innings…threw complete game shutout against Pitt-Johnstown on April 7, allowing just four hits and striking out six…other win came against Indiana (Pa.) on March 24, in which he allowed two earned runs in four innings…threw two hitless innings with three strikeouts in April 13 win vs. Bloomsburg.
 
2014 (Sophomore): Posted a 4-0 record in 26.2 innings with a 2.36 ERA in his second season with the club…struck out 14 and walked eight batters…allowed one earned run over his final 12.2 innings of the season…made one start vs. NCBWA No. 20-ranked Wilmington (Del.) and tossed six scoreless innings, giving up five singles and no walks…surrendered two earned runs in the season opener at Belmont Abbey and allowed just five additional earned runs for the remainder of the season…pitched five innings in relief vs. Bloomsburg…tossed two hitless innings in relief at Pitt-Johnstown.
 
2013 (Freshman): Served as a versatile arm for the pitching staff in his rookie season…made three starts and nine relief appearances…posted a 3.81 earned-run average…gave up 12 earned runs off 38 hits…struck out 12 in 28.1 innings…pitched five innings and gave up two earned runs against Wilmington (Del.)…struck out a career-high three in a four-inning start against IUP…went 4.2 innings in a start against Catawba…earned relief victories against Le Moyne (one inning) and East Stroudsburg (three innings, two strikeouts)…pitched two clean innings of relief against Seton Hill on the final day of the Atlantic Region Tournament.
 
Cumberland Valley High School: Earned two varsity letters for the Eagles under head coach Mike Whitehead, Jr.…led team in pitching appearances as a junior and senior…played pitcher and outfield to help lead the Eagles to back-to-back Mid Penn Commonwealth Division championships in 2011 and 2012…led team in innings and strikeouts during senior year…named to the Mid-Penn Conference Baseball All-Star team as a senior… received the CV Education Association Scholarship Award and the CVHS Entrepreneurship Management Award…honor roll student…pitched for the 2011 Capital Region Team gold medal team in the PA Keystone Games and received the team’s Outstanding Pitcher Award…played at the club level with PA Select coached by Randy Gibson…trained at GOWAGS baseball facility and played travel ball for Kyle Wagner and Billy White…recipient of the 2012 GOWAGS Kyle A. Ford Memorial Scholarship Award…played pitcher and outfield to help his Silver Spring American Legion Team to county playoff appearances in 2011, 2012 and 2013…played pitcher and outfield to help lead the Harrisburg RBI Program to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships and World Series appearances in Minneapolis in 2012 and 2013…led Harrisburg RBI to its first MLB RBI World Series Championship in
2013 in Minneapolis at Target Field…named the 2013 Harrisburg RBI MVP…led the team with a pitching record of 4 wins and 0 losses with a 0.00 ERA in 20 innings throughout the tournament including a five-hit shutout of the Dominican Republic in the championship round…played pitcher and outfield to help his Dillsburg Sandlot Team to its only West Shore League championship appearance in 2013 and the semifinals in 2015.
 
About McClintock: Full name is Kyle Allen McClintock…is the son of Mark and Gayle McClintock…majoring in marketing…has a sister, Courtney…aunt, Cheryl Schanbacher (‘87), and uncle, David Schanbacher (’83), graduated from Shippensburg…uncle, David, was an All-American for the SU football team…father, Mark, was a pitcher at Millersville University (1984-1985) and also attended Shippensburg for his postgraduate work.
