2015 (Junior): Was one of SU’s primary starting pitchers, leading the staff with 12 starts…posted a 4-6 record and a 6.51 ERA in 47 innings…struck out 30 and walked just seven…began season with seven shutout innings, including no walks and eight strikeouts, in a win over Belmont Abbey on Feb. 8…also tossed seven innings, allowing just one run, in a win at Millersville on April 12…pitched five-plus innings in four starts…earned conference victories over Lock Haven, Kutztown and Millersville.
 
2014 (Sophomore): Debuted in April and threw 26 innings, posting a 2-2 record in five starts during in his second year with the club…allowed just four extra base hits on the season…surrendered eight earned runs and 31 hits…struck out 15 batters and walked six…tossed a career-best seven innings in his season debut vs. Kutztown, allowing one run and striking out two…pitched six innings and allowed two runs at Millersville…started the team’s season finale and went 5.2 innings, allowing no earned runs and striking out three…was 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run in two games as a designated hitter in the team’s home doubleheader games versus Millersville.
 
2013 (Freshman): Was a versatile pitcher for the Raiders as a starter and reliever in his debut season…started four games and made eight relief appearances…went 2-1 with a 4.19 earned-run average in 34.1 innings…struck out 19 and gave up 16 earned runs off 43 hits…also totaled six at-bats while playing mostly second base in the field…earned a start at designated hitter vs. Shepherd…went a career-best 6.1 innings and struck out five with three earned runs against Lock Haven…also went six innings and gave up just one earned run against Wilmington (Del.)…struck out two in a five-inning start against Catawba for his first career victory…threw 4.1 innings of relief and allowed just one run to earn the victory against Winston-Salem State in the Atlantic Region Tournament.
 
Spring-Ford High School: Earned a varsity letter for the Rams under head coach Bruce Brobst…batted .339 and totaled 21 hits and nine RBIs as a senior…also posted a 3.14 ERA, totaling two wins and 21 strikeouts as a senior…named First Team All-Conference shortstop and First Team All-Area shortstop by the Mercury.
 
About Michaud: Full name is Richard John Michaud…is the son of Rich and Kathy Michaud…majoring in marketing…has two siblings, Cameron and Erica.
