Senior Austin Bartley set the new SU single-season and career saves records while three different Raiders homered in the nightcap as the Shippensburg University baseball team completed a sweep of Lock Haven on Saturday in its regular-season finale doubleheader, 2-0 and 6-5 from Foundation Field, to take the weekend series 3-1. Shippensburg (29-17,14-14 PSAC) won the opener on the legs of freshman
Mark Curtis, who improved to 5-0 on the year after tossing six scoreless innings and holding Lock Haven (13-28, 5-23) to just three hits and three walks. He finishes his impressive rookie campaign with a 2.58 ERA in 38.1 innings pitched while striking out 35 and holding opponents to just four total extra-base hits.
Bartley recorded the final out of Game 1 to record his 10th save of the season and 18th of his career, breaking Kody Kibler's (2008-12) school records in each category.

Rich Michaud tossed 5.2 innings and allowed zero earned runs on six hits while walking two and striking out three to earn the Game 2 victory. Senior
Shawn Patterson recorded his second career save and his first since recording a three-inning save in a 6-4 victory at Kutztown on March 25, 2011.

Jimmy Spanos each launched solo home runs over the left field fence in the fifth inning of the nightcap.
Kregeloh went 2-for-3 with a walk in Game 2 as the round-tripper was the 200th hit of his career (his 201st career hit was a double an inning later). With 141 RBIs, Kregeloh finishes his career tied for third in school history in the category.
Hogan finished the day 4-for-7 with two doubles, a home run, three RBIs and a run scored while Marcinko went 4-for-7 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Allison hit a combined 3-for-5 on the day with a double, two runs, two walks and one RBI while Douglas was 3-for-9 with a double.
