2013 (Junior): Posted an impressive debut season at Shippensburg after transferring from Frederick C.C….named the All-PSAC East First Team third baseman…flashed a valuable glove at the hot corner while settling into the No. 2 hole in the lineup…batted .312 and was among the Top-10 in the conference with 189 at-bats…totaled 59 hits and 36 runs…drove in 23 runs and stole four bases…accounted for 37 put-outs and 96 assists in the field…recorded 15 multiple-hit games…boasted an eight-game hitting streak during the season…drew a team season-high three walks at Kutztown on March 29…hit a home run against East Stroudsburg…hit a triple against Wilmington (Del.)…had a season-high three RBIs against Millersville and Clarion…had three hits on four occasions…named PSAC East Player of the Week on April 22.

2012 (Sophomore): Batted .333 for Frederick C.C. in 45 games played…totaled 42 hits, six doubles and a triple…drove in 23 runs and scored 33...recorded a .432 on-base percentage.

2011 (Freshman): Attended Franklin Pierce, where he batted .242 in 20 games, starting eight…recorded eight hits with five runs and five RBIs…stole a base…named the team’s most improved player.

St. Augustine’s Prep High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Hermits under head coach Mike Bylone…batted .467, scored 32 runs and drove in 27 RBIs…hit four home runs and five triples…committed one error in 195 innings…named First Team All-South Jersey, First Team All-Cape Atlantic Conference…also earned spots on the Atlantic City Press and Vineland Daily Journal First Team All-Star, as well as the Tri-Cape Carpenter Cup team…also played basketball.

Personal: Full name is James Calahan Hogan…is the son of Ned and Tricia Hogan…has a brother, Colby, and two sisters, Melanie and Madison…majoring in accounting.
