2013 (Junior): Again served as the team’s primary left-handed reliever while setting a school single-season record with 25 appearances…posted a 2.00 earned-run average and a 3-2 record…recorded a team-best four saves…struck out 23 in 36.0 innings of work while walking just six…came up clutch in SU winning Atlantic Region Tournament, throwing seven shutout innings of relief over the course of three games — allowing just three hits without a walk while striking out four and earning a victory and two saves in the process…in the deciding game against Seton Hill at regionals, threw a season-high 4.1 innings of relief and struck out two for the victory…gave up zero hits on eight occasions…earned wins against Le Moyne, Lock Haven and Seton Hill…recorded saves against Millersville (twice), West Chester and Winston-Salem State…went two or more innings in seven appearances…struck out two or more batters on seven occasions.

2012 (Sophomore): Emerged as the top left-handed reliever out of the bullpen for the Raiders in his second season with the team…made 22 relief appearances, a mark that ranked second in the PSAC…posted a 4.05 ERA in 33.1 innings (15 earned runs)…struck out 19 batters and gave up 31 hits…hitters had a .261 batting average in 119 at-bats against him…earned two saves, with one spanning two innings in a 5-4 win over California (Pa.) in the PSAC Tournament opener…earned lone win of the season at Millersville (one and one-third inning, strikeout, no hits)…went more than one inning in 14 appearances…went two or more innings in eight appearances…struck out two batters on four occasions…gave up zero hits on seven occasions.

2011 (R-Freshman): Developed into a serviceable reliever with the Raiders in his first season with the team…appeared in 15 games out of the bullpen…did not allow an earned run in 10 of 15 appearances…struck out 12 batters in 16 innings…struck out four in four innings of relief against East Stroudsburg…pitched in the PSAC tournament against California (Pa.)…earned a save in the season finale over Mansfield to clinch a playoff berth for the team…also picked a save against the Warriors…went more than one inning in nine appearances.

2010 (Freshman): Was not with the team…competed with the football team during the preseason.

Newark High School: Earned three letters with the Yellow Jackets…posted a 9-2 record as a senior…received honorable mention during his junior year as an outfielder…awarded second-team honors as an outfielder during his senior year…also played football and was an extremely versatile and all-around solid contributor for the team under coach Butch Simpson, who used to be an assistant to former SU head coach Rocky Rees...spent time as a running back and a quarterback and compiled six total touchdowns.

Personal: Full name is Austin Lee Bartley…is the son of Robb and Kathy Bartley…majoring in marketing…has a twin brother, Connor.
