SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University lacrosse coach
Ashley Manion has confirmed that seven student-athletes have completed National Letters of Intent (NLIs) during the early signing period and will join the Raider program for the 2016 season.

The recruits will complete their final year of high school and come to Shippensburg beginning in the fall of 2015. The class spans two states – with four signees from Maryland and three from Pennsylvania.

"I am excited to welcome these seven women to the Ship Lax family," Manion said. "They bring speed at every position – attack, midfield, defense and goalie. I anticipate they will make an immediate impact on our program with regards to continuing to grow in a positive direction and rise within our conference."

The 2015 edition of the Raider lacrosse team opens their season March 3 vs. Chestnut Hill.
