FAIRMONT, W.Va. - Junior
Rachael Ballard posted a PSAC qualifying time in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:34.13) and the 200-yard freestyle relay squad set a Feaster Center pool record as the Shippensburg women's swimming team won its second consecutive dual meet on Friday evening, 111-65 at Fairmont State.

Julia Brownrigg, freshman
Kaitlyn Shelly and freshman
Julie Brown teamed up for the fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:42.14. The old pool record was 1:43.28. Brownrigg won multiple events at the meet, earning gold in the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard backstroke.
Another relay that performed well was the 200-medley squad. Junior
Kate Johnson, senior
Meghan Herr, Capozzi and fellow junior
Alyssa Boeggeman won the event. Capozzi also posted the fastest time of the night in the 500-yard freestyle.
In the 200-yard butterfly, freshman
Sarah Hanson posted the fastest time while junior Elizabeth Pflaum was credited with the win in the event.
Other winners included senior
Jessica Stusnick in the 1,000-yard freestyle and senior
Amy Fisher in the 200-yard individual medley.
Shippensburg's next dual meet is Saturday, November 6 at 1 p.m. from Donald N. Miller Pool inside Heiges Field House.
