Biography
2010-11 (Junior): Continued to work as a freestyle swimmer for Shippensburg…primarily swam sprint events…achieved new PRs in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle...achieved her PR in the 100-yard freestyle at the PSAC Championships…also competed in breaststroke and individual medley swims during the season.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Progressed as a freestyle swimmer in her second year with the women’s team…specialized in sprint flights…ranked among the teams Top 10 competitors in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events…also swam trials in the 100-yard breaststroke.
2008-09 (Freshman): Made her debut as a freestyle swimmer for Shippensburg.
Neshaminy High School: Earned four letters under head coachand SU swimming alum Brian Suter…named a Suburban One Academic Athlete…broke the Neshaminy school record in the 200 free relay…posted personal bests of 25.9 in the 50 freestyle and 57.9 in 100 freestyle.
Personal: Full name is Alyssa Lee Boeggeman…is the daughter of John and Robin Boeggeman…majoring in accounting.
