Biography
2009-10 (Junior): Competed primarily as a breaststroke swimmer for the Lady Raiders in her third year with the team…placed in the ‘B’ finals of both breaststroke flights at the PSAC Championships (15th in 100 [1:11.18] and 14th in 200 [2:30.99])…swam individual medley and freestyle events during the season.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Continued her development as a versatile swimmer for the Lady Raiders while competing in a variety of flights…placed twice at the conference championships…finished 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:32.21) and 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.61)…recorded a time in the 200-yard breaststroke of 2:31.35 that served as the third-best team time of the season…also swam the team’s fifth-best overall time in the 200-yard individual medley (2:19.87).
2007-08 (Freshman): Emerged as a dominant breaststroke swimmer… recorded the top times on the team in the 50 (33.15 seconds), 100 (1:07.93) and 200-yard (2:27.45) breaststroke events…competed at PSAC Championships in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke, finishing eighth (1:09.00) and ninth (2:29.55) respectively…recorded the third-best team time in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:17.20 at the Zippy Invitational…also held third-best team time in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:56.31 at the PSAC Championships.
Personal: Full name is Meghan Alexa Herr…is the daughter of Ed and Andrea Herr…majoring in elementary education while seeking a minor in reading.
