The Shippensburg University volleyball team dropped a four-set decision at West Chester on Saturday to conclude the regular season, with the Golden Rams claiming the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match by set scores of 14-25, 25-22, 19-25, 17-25 at Hollinger Field House.

Shippensburg (13-16, 6-8 PSAC East) was led by freshman
Kat Negron with 11 kills and eight digs. Juniors
Kaitlyn Townsend and
Rachel Verhoef had eight kills each, with Townsend reaching another career high in kills for the second straight day. Verhoef hit .353 from the floor.

Lily Letchworth had 36 assists and seven digs. Freshman
Kelsie Baus led the Raiders with nine digs.

West Chester (22-7, 10-4) had two players with double-digit kills, including a match-high 13 kills from Olivia Rudjord. The Raiders had more kills against the Golden Rams, but it was 13 aces and nine blocks that made the difference for WCU.
