SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Shippensburg University will be inducting six former athletes and one former coach into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, October 20.

The 32nd annual induction ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. from the Tuscarora Room located inside Reisner Dining Hall.

The event is being held as a luncheon and each inductee will be given an opportunity to provide a short speech.

Full biographies of the seven inductees can be accessed by clicking on their names below.

Geoff Bloes '07 is the all-time leading scorer in Shippensburg University men's soccer history. After 77 career games, Bloes finished his tenure having set new school records for career goals (51) and career points (130). He also finished second in school history with 28 career assists and totaled 10 game-winning goals. Bloes is the only player in school history named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Year, a feat he accomplished twice.

Clyde Cressler '65 is one of just seven Raider wrestlers in school history to become a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Champion – claiming the 1962 title at 115 pounds. He is one of three SU wrestlers to ever win that weight class at the PSAC Championships.

Jaime-Lyn Dacey '06 is one of the best softball players in the history of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Dacey, starting center fielder from 2002-05, is SU's all-time leader in batting average (.422), triples (23) and RBIs (156) while ranking second in school history for hits (264) and runs (163) and tied for fourth in stolen bases (49).

Chuck Davis '07 is SU's all-time leading scorer in men's basketball history with 1,825 points and also school-record holder for career steals with 203. In four seasons with the Raiders, Davis helped the team to a record 69 wins. A three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) First Team selection, Davis became the first player in school history to earn conference Player of the Year honors, as he was named PSAC Western Division Player of the Year as a junior in 2005-06.

Barry Kerr '85 is one of the best shortstops to suit up for the Shippensburg University baseball team. He is the first player in school history with 10 or more home runs in a single season, achieving the honor in back-to-back years, and posted a .318 career batting average in 149 games with the Raiders. He was a co-captain in 1984 and 1985, a two-year span in which SU posted a sterling .710 winning percentage.

Lindsey Knupp '05, a four-year starter in field hockey, graduated as SU's all-time school record holder for goals and assists. Her 56 career goals remains sixth all-time at Shippensburg, while her 34 assists rank second. Her 17 assists as a junior in 2003 remains a single-season school record. She is a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American and three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performer.

Bertie Landes (honorary) served as Shippensburg University's head field hockey and lacrosse coach from 1999-2005 before transitioning solely to field hockey, completing her 18-year tenure in 2016. Landes built and maintained SU's modern tradition of field hockey excellence and brought the university its first two NCAA Division II championships in any sport.
