The Shippensburg University men's swimming team has its first meet of the 2015-16 season this weekend when it travels to West Chester for a tri-meet with the Golden Rams and Southern Connecticut State. The two-day meet begins at 5 p.m. Friday and resumes Saturday morning.

SU is under the direction of 17th-year head coach Tim Verge '89. The men's team has nine newcomers among the 18 individuals on the roster. Jake Dunnigan and Stefan Szilagyi are the team's two seniors this season; the squad also features four juniors and four sophomores.

The Raiders are looking to continue resuming its ascent atop the PSAC standings by season's end. SU finished sixth at last year's conference championships and hopes to continue to improve when the time comes at season's end.
