The Shippensburg University baseball team honored its three seniors between games of its Friday afternoon doubleheader from Fairchild Field but was outslugged by the visiting Mountaineers, who won the opener 14-4 and the second game 10-4. Game 2 was called after five innings due to darkness.

Shippensburg (21-25, 11-11 PSAC East) took a 3-1 lead in the opening game after a two-run homer in the first inning by junior Ben Miller and a solo shot in the second inning by sophomore Steve Sulcoski.
