Biography

2010 (Junior): Played 24 games at catcher and 23 games at first base during his third year with the Red Raiders…made 47 starts and appeared in 48 of the team’s 49 games…hit .316 with four home runs and six doubles…ranked second on the team with 32 RBIs…scored 29 runs…committed just five errors en route to a .983 fielding percentage…totaled nine multiple-RBI games…one of just two players to have a four-hit game during the season, going 4-for-5 in the second game of the year at Catawba…tallied multiple hits in 13 games…had a season-long six-game hitting streak…finished a home doubleheader against UPJ 4-for-8 with a home run, double, seven RBIs and four runs scored…primarily batted third in the lineup.

2009 (Sophomore):
Continued to patrol the backstop for Shippensburg in his second season with the team, starting 24 games and making 27 appearances…totaled 15 hits, including three doubles…posted nine RBIs…scored nine runs…drew seven walks…compiled an on-base percentage of .295…smacked a two-run double in a pinch-hitting appearance against Slippery Rock...hit .214 on the season.

2008 (Freshman):
Appeared in 20 games, making 15 starts at catcher before his season was shortened due to injury…batted .278 in 54 at-bats…hit one home run with 11 RBIs and had 22 total bases…had a slugging percentage of .407…went 3-for-3 with one home run, one double, three runs scored and four RBIs on March 22 against Mansfield…finished with three multi-hit and two multi-RBI games…registered a three-game hitting streak from March 22-25.

Lower Dauphin High School:
Earned three varsity letters as a Falcon under head coach Ken Kulina…named to The Patriot-News’ Big 11 Team as a senior…also played hockey.

Personal:
Kris Kullman is the son of Terry and Melanie Kullman…majoring in history.
