2010 (Junior): Hit .314 for the Red Raiders in his third season with the team…made 16 starts at designated hitter and appeared in 23 games during the season…capped off the year with a series to remember, going 5-for-11 with home runs in three of the four games against nationally-ranked West Chester…tallied 19 RBIs and six extra-base hits…compiled a .438 on-base percentage and a .569 slugging percentage…drew three of his eight walks in one game against IUP…ranked fourth on the team in batting average…had multiple RBIs in six games, third-most on the squad…scored 10 runs.

2009 (Sophomore): Made seven appearances during the season as a utility player for the Red Raiders in his second year with the team…earned two starts at designated hitter over the course of the season…scratched out two hits in seven at-bats…scored two runs…drew three walks.

2008 (Freshman): Appeared in 13 games as a catcher, pinch hitter and a defensive replacement for Shippensburg…totaled four hits and three RBIs…also stole a base…his best game came against Northwood, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

South Western High School: Played as a Mustang under head coach Mike Resetar…earned five varsity letters on the diamond and as a member of the football team as a tight end and linebacker.

Personal: Jesse Smith is the son of Dave and Robin Smith…majoring in history while seeking a social studies teaching certificate.
