BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Shippensburg University men's swimming team won six events in a dual meet at Canisius College on Saturday afternoon inside the Koessler Athletic Center Pool. Freshman
Mitch Paczesniak won the 1,000 freestyle and the 400 IM to lead the Red Raiders.
Canisius won the dual meet by a score of 148-132 yet diving points appear to have been counted. The Griffins were swimming in their home opener against the Red Raiders.
Paczesniak handily won the 1,000 freestyle by more than 22 seconds over his teammate, sophomore
Chris Torrens. Near the end of the meet, Paczesniak won the 400 IM by more than four seconds over Canisius swimmer Randall Snodgrass.
