Biography
2009-10 (Sophomore): Continued his efforts as a distance freestyle and individual medley competitor during his second season with the Red Raider swim team…placed twice at the PSAC championship meet…finished 13th in the 400-yard IM and 16th in the 1,000-yard freestyle…ranked second among SU competitors in the 400-yard IM…also swam flights in the butterfly and breaststroke.
2008-09 (Freshman): Completed his debut season with the Red Raiders by achieving two scoring performances at the conference championships…finished 10th in the 400-yard IM (4:17.24) and 12th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:47.66)…both performances were season-bests…his times ranked fourth and fifth respectively among the team rankings while his time of 10:12.17 in the 1,000-yard freestyle was also recorded at the conference championships and slotted fourth on the team.
Conestoga High School: Four-year letterwinner…made the First Team All-Central League during all four of his seasons…won a Central League Championship in the 500-yard freestyle… earned a fifth-place combined team finish at the YMCA nationals.
Personal: Full name is Walter Mitchell Paczesniak…is the son of Mark and Kim Paczesniak…majoring in history.
