The Shippensburg University volleyball team begins its 2026 season at 7 p.m. Thursday at Clarion. The Golden Eagles are once again hosting the Tony Banner Memorial Classic, at which SU will also compete twice on Friday and once on Saturday. 

The class breakdown of the 2026 roster is listed below. It is using the “traditional” eligibility model. 

All four of this year's seniors will have the opportunity to return next year as “fifth-years.”

Shippensburg is under the direction of Leanne Piscotty, who enters her 23rd season at Shippensburg in 2026 having compiled a 463-271 career record.

The Raiders posted a 20-9 overall record last season that included a 10-2 mark against PSAC Eastern Division opponents. 

SU earned the PSAC Eastern Division's No. 2 seed for the 2025 postseason tournament and were included in the NCAA Atlantic Region rankings at season's end.

NOTES FOR 2026:

• New in 2026, five teams from each division will qualify for the PSAC Volleyball Tournament. First Round games will be held on the Monday following the conclusion of the regular season and feature the No. 4 seed hosting the No. 5 seed in the same division. For the remaining rounds, the quarterfinals will be held on Wednesday, semifinals on Saturday and the championship match on Sunday. This is the second year that the divisions will crossover for the quarterfinals (high East seeds hosting lower West seeds, and higher West seeds hosting lower East seeds).

• Every PSAC Eastern Division team (including Shippensburg) is scheduled for a home and away contest against PSAC provisional member Lackawanna. The contests do not count in the Conference standings and do not count toward a team's NCAA record.
