Western Wayne High School: Earned four varsity letters for the Wildcats under head coach Darren Thorpe…competed at the club level for Synergy Volleyball under coach Jean Visconti…a two-time All-State selection (2023-24, 2024-25)…a three-time Lackawanna League First Team All-Star…a two-time team MVP…is the first female volleyball player in Lackawanna League history to produce 1,000 career kills, accomplishing a league-record 1,059 in her high school career…maintained a 4.0 GPA…a three-year member of the Distinguished Honor Roll.
 
About Beamer: Full name is Lauren Renee Beamer…is the daughter of Mary Wahl, Robert Beamer and Mark Wahl…stepfather Mark (’92, ’06 M), step grandmother Ann (’85 M) both graduated from Shippensburg…step grandfather Richard Wahl was a biology professor at Shippensburg from 1970-94.
