The Shippensburg University women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Millersville on Wednesday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup at the McComsey Tennis Courts.

Shippensburg (8-11, 1-3 PSAC East) won five total games in doubles and at least two games in each of the four singles matches that were contested.

Brooklynn Rupert and sophomore
Brinley Orris at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.

Jade Miller won three games at No. 2 doubles. Miller dropped a 3-6, 3-6 decision at No. 3 singles.

Rachel Gallagher each won two games in their respective singles matches.

Millersville (9-9, 4-2) locked up a spot in the PSAC Tournament with its victory. Hui Jen Soo and Lauren Hayes formed the No. 1 doubles pairing and earned the wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Chloe Abramowitz and Sophie Lanius were the No. 2 doubles pairing and the No. 3 and No. 4 singles representatives for the Marauders.
