The Shippensburg University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 result Friday at NCAA Division I opponent Norfolk State on a cool and breezy afternoon in Virginia.
 
Shippensburg (4-4) had junior Corinne Markovich and senior Brooklynn Rupert win a singles game in their respective matches at No. 1 and No. 5 respectively.
 
Rupert and senior Yasmin De Meyer teamed up to win one game at No. 1 doubles.
 
SU remains in the Old Dominion to face Virginia Wesleyan at noon tomorrow.
