Lock Haven opened the second half as they did in the first half with attacking pressure inside the first 10 minutes. Willoughby made an easy save on a hard shot and cleared away a dangerous corner with a big hand just minutes later.
Tom Pombor doubled the Bald Eagles' lead in the 60th minute with a beautiful goal. Swope got on the scoresheet again, setting up Pombor who curled his effort into the far corner for a 2–0 advantage.
The Raiders got one back moments later as senior
Dalton Shifflett turned one after a scramble from a set-piece. The initial delivery was headed away to senior
Nathan Weldon (York, Pa./Susquehannock) who put a low cross back into the box. Shifflett controlled the ball off of a defender's deflection and put it away to cut the deficit in half.
Shippensburg pressured on the attack in the final 10 minutes forcing goalkeeper Brady Freiwald to come out of his goal twice to get a hand to crosses, but the Raiders could not find the equalizer.
