The Shippensburg University men's swimming team completed two timed finals sessions on Saturday to wrap up its weekend at the Gettysburg Invitational.
 
In the 100-yard breaststroke, three Raiders hit Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying cuts. Graduate Vin Salvatore led the Raiders with a personal best 59.19 and a seventh-place finish, while sophomore Nathan VanNatter swam a personal best 1:00.27 and 11th place. Right behind VanNatter was freshman Nate Wauls with a 1:00.49 time.
 
The 100-yard freestyle featured four Raiders with PSAC cuts. Hale led SU with a 48.17 time; freshman Kevin Noldy swam a personal best 48.71, senior Elijah Zinn swam 48.75, Salvatore finished with a 48.99 time, while JC Greenwood swam 49.16.
 
Salvatore had another personal best and a PSAC cut in the 200-yard breaststroke event with a 2:13.21 time and an eight-place finish. Freshman Jason Chatell also hit a personal best with a 2:31.72 finish.
 
Junior Michael Salvatori was the lone Raider in the 200-yard fly and finished fifth with a personal best and a PSAC cut with a 1:58.14 time.
 
Shippensburg's next competition is a January 13 dual meet at Edinboro.
