Lock Haven (1-17, 1-6) was led by Gabriela Fialova. The Raiders hit .242 compared to .150 for the Bald Eagles. The teams combined for 27 service errors: 11 for LHU and 16 for SU.
Â
The first set was back and forth, and it wasn't until the Raiders went on a 5-2 run late in the set that secured the first-set victory. LHU came back in the second set and took the lead after being tied, 15-15. The Bald Eagles went on an 8-2 run, but the Raiders fought back and reduced the deficit to 24-22, but was not enough as Fialova's kill secured the set for Lock Haven.
Â
In the third set, the Raiders were looking to find a way to go on a run, and sophomore
Kelsie Baus provided it with two service aces that were followed by kills from Gardner, Agbale, and Clabaugh to create set point. A block from Verhoef and Gardner gave the Raiders the third set.
Â
The fourth set saw 10 tie scores and five lead changes. The set was tied up at 21-21 and a service ace from Davis and back-to-back kills from Agbale set up match point. A hard kill by Gardner secured the victory for the Raiders.

The Raiders will travel to Jefferson on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup at 6 p.m.
