SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The 2020 Shippensburg University Athletics Hall of Fame class was announced today in a pre-produced video ceremony that is available online at shipraiders.com.
Â
The 35th annual induction ceremony was not able to be held on campus during this Homecoming weekend as a result of the lasting effects of the coronavirus pandemic. It features biographical information about each inductee, a message from SU President Laurie Carter, and segments of video interviews with each inductee that were conducted via Zoom videoconference.
Despite the lack of an on-campus ceremony in 2020, the plan is to afford each inductee an opportunity to be recognized in-person at the 2021 ceremony.
