The Shippensburg University tennis team completed its season-opening weekend on Sunday with a non-conference loss at Moravian, 9-0.

Maddy Reeves had an excellent effort at No. 1 singles, playing to a tiebreaker in the first set. Reeves came up just short in the tiebreaker, 12-10, yielding a 7-6, 6-4 match to her opponent Mary Angle.

Sahar Islam won three games at No. 3 singles.
Kayla Tryanski and
Cally Papoutsis each won a game at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
