The Shippensburg University lacrosse team was unable to overcome Edinboro on Saturday in a road Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup, falling 12-9 to the Fighting Scots at Sox Harrison Stadium.

Shippensburg (4-10, 2-8 PSAC) trailed 4-1 through the first 19 minutes of play but rallied to get within two goals of Edinboro (3-12, 2-8), 5-3, at halftime. The Raiders tied the score at 5-5 with 26:39 remaining, but the Fighting Scots scored seven of the next 10 goals to take control. SU got as close as 10-8 with 4:38 left.
