The Shippensburg University wrestling team scored bonus points in all five of its victories on Friday night at the 2018 Kutztown University Duals, including bookend pins by junior David Reagan and sophomore Derek Berberick, as the Raiders defeated LIU Post 25-20 in a non-conference dual meet.
 
Shippensburg, ranked No. 10 in Super Region 1, posted the victory over the Pioneers, who entered ranked No. 7 in Super Region 1. SU needed a pair of comebacks and all of its bonus points to emerge victorious.
 
The match opened with a spirited victory by fall at the end of the second period by Reagan, who achieved his first collegiate pin and first victory over a Division II opponent with the win. The evening closed with Berberick scoring a victory by fall in 3:31, flipping a one-point Raider deficit into a five-point match triumph.
 
Shippensburg trailed 20-15 entering the final two bouts but began its second comeback of the night with No. 3-ranked redshirt-senior Evan Ramos scoring a 12-3 major decision at 197 pounds.
 
After falling behind 11-6 due to setbacks at 133 and 141, the Raiders rallied with a technical fall at 149 pounds by senior Cody Blankenship and a 13-4 major decision at 157 pounds by senior Mike Springer to take a 15-11 lead. Springer, ranked No. 5 in Super Region 1, posted his victory over TJ Fabian, the No. 6-ranked wrestler in Super Region 1.
 
Shippensburg competes twice Saturday at the KU Duals, facing UNC Pembroke at 11 a.m. and American International at 2 p.m.
