The Shippensburg University volleyball team fell in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) road match to regionally-ranked Seton Hill on Saturday afternoon, 21-25, 18-25 and 9-25 from Sullivan Gymnasium inside the Katherine Mabis McKenna Center.
Shippensburg (19-10, 11-4 PSAC) battled Seton Hill (20-5, 11-4) to a tough first-set loss, but could not stave off the Griffins offensive attack the rest of the day – ultimately dropping its fourth PSAC contest of the year.
The Raiders had six different players record a kill on the day including a team-high seven from junior
Morgan DeFloria. Sophomore
Kendall Johnson tallied six kills on the afternoon while hitting at a .250 clip.

Samantha Webber and freshman
Gianna Sigado each recorded five kills for the Raiders. Webber also finished with a team-high three blocks.
Defensively, three Raiders recorded eight or more digs. Sophomore
Megan Forstburg led SU with 10, Sigado finished with nine and DeFloria tallied eight. Redshirt-junior
Courtney Malott led the Raiders with 21 assists as the setter.
Shippensburg will return to action Tuesday night at 7 p.m. when it hosts Millersville at Heiges Field House.
