The Shippensburg University volleyball team was credited with its most kills in a match in three seasons on Friday night, snapping a four-match losing skid by winning a five-set thriller at Lock Haven, defeating the Bald Eagles by scores of 14-25, 25-19, 25-17, 29-31 and 15-8 from Thomas Fieldhouse.
Â
Shippensburg (20-10, 12-5 PSAC) totaled 70 kills on the evening, its most since recording 73 in a victory over Winston-Salem State back on Nov. 8, 2014. The Raiders were credited with 30 more kills than their opponents, swinging .202 from the floor.

Â
DeFloria notched a season-high 21 kills, swinging .167, to complement 14 digs for another double-double. It's the third time in DeFloria's career she has had 20 or more kills in a match. She also contributed to three blocks.
Â

Gabriella Johnson had 10 kills and 21 digs for her sixth double-double of the season.
Â
Freshman setter

Â

Â
Shippensburg travels to Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Mountain Cats to conclude the regular season.
Â
If the Raiders defeat the Mountain Cats tomorrow in three or four sets, the Raiders would earn the No. 4 seed in the conference and host a PSAC Quarterfinal on Tuesday evening.
Â
If the Raiders defeat the Mountain Cats tomorrow in five sets, the Raiders would fall below the No. 4 seed by virtue of the third conference tiebreaker, sets won in PSAC play (43-42, UPJ).
Â
If the Raiders lose to the Mountain Cats tomorrow, the Raiders would earn either the No. 5 seed and travel right back to Pitt-Johnstown on Tuesday, or potentially fall to the No. 6 seed and travel to the No. 3 seed on Tuesday.
